DELIVERY DRIVING RUNS IN MY FAMILY. My kids, husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and I, five generations, have provided delivery for multiple different industries using commercial trucks, vans, mail jeeps, cars, SUVs, school buses, tanker trucks, trains, semitrucks, bicycles, taxicabs, and funeral hearses. Cargos delivered include US mail, commercial uniforms, DoorDash meals, schoolchildren, pharmaceuticals, senior citizens, water, tipsy festival attendees, eyeglass frames, beauty supplies, raw milk, newspapers, taxi passengers, caskets with corpses, and bootleg hooch.
Currently, my husband, son, daughter, and brother, as well as two long-haul trucker brothers-in-law, are doing delivery driving. This line of work is not without risk. I’m constantly praying for my family’s safety on the road.
