FROM 1982 through 1988, the Formula circus included the mean streets of Detroit, Michigan, among its annual stops. It doesn't seem all that long ago, except when you consider that none of the drivers of that era is still in the game today (okay, there's a Rosberg, but it’s now Keke’s son, Nico). More names: Michele Alboreto, Nelson Piquet, Eddie Cheever, Gerhard Berger, Nigel Mansell, Martin Brundle, and a blindingly talented Brazilian named Ayrton Senna.
Roger Hart was there, too.
