letter of the month
come and play
So here I sit, at 4:20 in the morning, reading about the new Infiniti G37 coupe, and {can’t help but regret that! haven’t been watching “Sesame Street,’ as I’m having trouble right now with the alphabet (“G-Force,” May 2007). Maybe because it’s early, but the one-, two-, and three-letter automotive monikers seem to keep running together—G37, VQ-V6, G-sedan, VHR, VVEL, VQ, FX, M, and G sedans, Nissan Z, and Skyline GT-R, G35S, LSD, NVH, FM, ATC, and E92. Didn’t extra letters like SS and GT once mean something significant? I’m beginning to wonder if Bert, Ernie, and Big Bird should start thanking the auto industry for their jobs.
