When it comes to enduro racing, there aren’t many events more deserving of the adjective ‘epic’ than the Trans-Provence. Over the course of six days and 24 timed stages, riders cover 269km, climb 9,111m and descend a massive 18,281m. It’s the kind of event that’s on every racer’s bucket list.
Ticking it off for the first time this year was Martha Gill, from the Marin/Stan’s team. “I’d heard so many stories about this race that I wanted to see what the hype was about,” she said. “I love challenging myself and, having never done a multi-day stage race before, I thought ‘why not?’
