The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Florida Southwest has renamed its local scholarship program the Andrea Clark Brown AIA Florida Southwest Scholarship Program in honor of the late renowned local architect who designed such notable Naples landmarks as Sugden Community Theatre, the “Butterfly House,” and St. Agnes Catholic Church, to name just a few. The local scholarship program was established in 2018 to encourage students to pursue careers as registered architects. The commitment on the part of the architectural students is significant in terms of time, effort, and cost. With this in mind, AIA Florida Southwest created a program to help establish a continuous stream of local talent accepting the challenge. So, when a boatbuilder comes up with a luxury cruiser that’s 100 percent powered by the sun, it’s worth taking notice. While personalizing their newly built home in the Park Shore area of Naples, Michael and Jodi Noble chose to design a custom door for their home office, situated just off the foyer.
