The Danish Royal family certainly know how to hit the ground running!
Crown Princess Mary, 50, her husband Prince Frederik, 54, and their four children - Prince Christian, 16, Princess Isabella, 15, and twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, 11 – recently competed at the annual Royal Run held in Aarhus, Denmark.
Blending in with the 90,000-strong crowd, the royals didn’t let the unfavourable wet weather dampen their spirits as they took on the charity race.
“A little rain doesn’t change my excitement,” Princess Mary captioned a selfie on Instagram as she made her way to the event.
Meanwhile, it was a bitter-sweet moment for Prince Frederik, who this year marked 30 years since his first marathon - only to be beaten by his eldest son, Christian.
