Fans of historical romance drama Outlander will be thrilled to learn production has begun on a prequel series, Outlander: Blood of My Blood. The original series focuses on the love story between World War II nurse, Claire Randall (Caitríona Balfe), who has been pulled back in time to 18th-century Scotland, where she fallsls in love with Highlander Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan). Meanwhile, the prequel will follow the parallel love stories of Jamie’s parents in the 18th-century Scottish Highlands and Claire’s parents in England during the first World War. A merican author Lisa Taddeo’s non-fiction book Three Women was an instant best seller when it debuted in 2019, and its new television adaptation packs a punch equally as powerful. The 10-episode drama series follows a grieving writer who manages to persuade three women from vastly different walks of life to share their stories, which alters her own trajectory. Fans of the book will be pleased to know the author had a strong hand in the creation of the TV series and also serves as an executive producer. “The ultimate challenge for the adaptation was connecting the stories in a satisfying way that felt true,” Lisa told Vanity Fair.
