MINESHAFT MYSTERY
Married couple Ray and Jennie Kehlet loved an adventure.
On March 19, 2015, they packed up their car and their dog, Ella, and drove to Sandstone, WA – about 660 kilometres north of Perth. They were going on a 10-day trip to learn how to prospect for gold with their friend, Graham Milne.
The couple last spoke to their family on March 18, telling them they’d be out of mobile range for the next 10 days and to not worry. But as time passed and Ray, 47, and Jennie, 49, didn’t get back in touch, police stepped in.
Then on April 8, Ray’s body was found at the bottom of a disused mineshaft. Jennie is still missing.
