The Semiquincentennial (SemiQ) has collectors and non-collectors alike abuzz with excitement for 2026. There are so many different ways to celebrate this historic milestone, and as numismatic enthusiasts, we’ll do it the best way we know how: by collecting and studying coins.
For 2026, there will be five new quarters, a new nickel, a dime, and a half dollar for circulation. There has been some discussion surrounding the new coins, as the final design themes are different from what was originally announced, but nevertheless, the Mint has released the designs for the new circulating coins.
