Principal Brian Dwyer completed 12 years at the Croydon Aircraft Company based at the Old Mandeville Aerodrome, near Gore, fabricating vintage aluminium aircraft panels. While at Mandeville, he began recreating a classic C-Type Jaguar, similar to those that won at Le Mans in 1951 and 1953, building it from scratch.

Now based in Gore, he was involved for a time in another company producing some 35 C-Type Jaguars which went to owners around the World.
