Manukau has kicked off the competition year with a hard-to-beat three-in-one day of racing at Colin Dale Motorsport Park.
The championship is under way.
Because of the way the points structure works, racers who are the only entrant in their class get a massive advantage, taking a maximum 72 points from the day.
So, the leaders after round one are Peter Gordon, Aaron Hogg-Medlock, Nick Hall, who faced down a seven-strong class 8 grid, Arnie Jones, the only class 9 entrant, Ed Hiestand, the only class 10 entrant, Challenger class winner Sareena Paterson, defending champion Carl Ruiterman, and Neill Coutts who won U class UTVs.
