And that is just the short-term plan. Johnston says they are in the middle of a review of their five-year-old guiding document, Te Pai Tawhiti, which looks out 500 years.
While it’s a real challenge taking their view out 500 years, the guiding document was developed in-house by talking to their owners, families and staff and then distilling down to three main themes by looking backwards 500 years.
