Unusually, Exhibition is a table-service restaurant where you can order from three different kitchens: Scandiinfluenced Osma, Basque homage Baratxuri and, subject of this month’s review, Jaan. A spin-off from chefs Max Yorke and Julian Pizer’s contemporary bistro, Another Hand, Jaan’s menu revolves around Persian-inspired flatbreads, served topped or with dips. Other stand-alone Jaan dishes range from, for example, grilled prawns with roast garlic, pickled chilli and zhoug, to glazed chicken wings, muhammara, sweetcorn and chilli crisp. Dining aside, Exhibition’s hip remodelling of the historic St George’s House also includes a late bar with DJs and diverting cocktails. exhibitionmcr.co.uk
