At 90, Jaime Zobel de Ayala still advocates for Ayala Corporation to establish ventures that support the success of the Filipino people. Zobel, the company’s chairman emeritus, has been serving the company since 1984. While he wears many hats in his career, the industry leader continues to work on his passions—one of which is photography for which he won several awards in the country and also abroad.
In his free time, Zobel also supports the Filipino art and culture scene. For his birthday, artists gathered to pay homage to the art patron via a musical titled, Authentically Ayala, which was conceived by the late playwright Floy Quintos before he passed away.
