On November 29, 1875, HSBC Philippines opened its first branch in Binondo, Manila. The historic wooden building served as its headquarters until it moved to Makati in 1971, before finally settling in its current home in Bonifacio Global City in 2007. CEO and Head of Banking, Sandeep Uppal, looks back on the bank’s legacy as it moves toward the future.
