The winners of this year’s iPhone Photography Awards have been announced, showcasing some of the incredible images snapped with Apple’s ever-more-capable smartphone cameras. The winning images were chosen from thousands submitted by photographers from more than 140 countries.
The IPPAwards is the first and longest running iPhone photography competition. Prizes were awarded in Photographer of the Year and 18 other categories, including Nature, Landscape, Travel, Abstract, Sunset, Still Life, People and Architecture. Professional photographer Cary Hazlegrove, one of this year’s jury members, said: “The 2019 entries were off-the-charts great. Astounding work that pulls the planet together through photographs.”
