1 TALK AND SHOOT
Many people don’t like having their photo taken, so keep the conversation flowing throughout the shoot, and take regular short breaks to keep the atmosphere light.
2 LET THE KIDS LEAD
If the children are running around and having a good time, just roll with it and capture the action as it happens.
3 GET THEM TALKING
Not every photo you take has to have everyone looking down the lens. Get the family to ignore the camera and chat, to provide some smiles and laughter.
4 HAVE FUN
Piggyback rides, running races and a game of hide and seek are all good ways to break the ice and get all the family smiling.
5 TOYS, TOYS, TOYS
When shooting in the studio, keep toddlers and young…
