It’s been rumored for months, and now DJI has unveiled the DJI Mavic Mini, a super-lightweight, palm-sized, foldable drone. The company says the Mini is “portable, easy to fly, designed for safety and perfect for everyone who wants to experience the fun of flying”. It’s also affordable, at £369/$399.
DJI has a dominant position in the prosumer drone market, but has come under increasing threat from regulation in key markets like the UK, USA and China, all of which require registration of drones over 250g.
