“Chagrin” is the sound of a songwriter trusting his instincts. On his second full-length LP, Cleveland artist Brian Teubl steps fully into a personal, hand-built approach—writing, recording, and producing every track himself—while welcoming a few carefully chosen voices to deepen the story. Released September 5, 2025, the album gathers songs shaped by nostalgia, isolation, nature, and love, threading them into a cohesive, quietly resonant whole.
The project was made at home—the Bat-Cave studio in Northfield, Ohio—with a limited but intentional toolkit: acoustic guitar, bass, a microphone, and patience in the edit.
