American Leg of Longines Masters Set For NYC
In a move that takes it from one U.S. coast to the other, the third show of the upcoming Longines Masters Series will be held in New York City in 2018, according to a mid-May announcement by Christophe Ameeuw, founder and CEO of EEM, the company that created and owns the event, and Juan-Carlos Capelli, vice president of Longines and head of international marketing. The competition—previously staged in Los Angeles—will unfold in the newly renovated NYCB LIVE, home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, April 26–29, 2018. It will be the last event of the Grand Slam of Indoor Show Jumping, which will begin with competition in Paris, Nov. 30–Dec. 3, then head to Hong Kong, Feb. 9–11, 2018.
