ABOUT KERI KAMPSEN

Originally from Tampa, Florida, Keri Kampsen rode with Christina Schlusemeyer and Bob Braswell at Quiet Hill Farm as a Junior. She won multiple ribbons in the major equitation finals, including a first in the 1997 ASPCA Maclay Final, second in the 1998 North American Equitation Championships, fourth in the 1998 AHSA Medal Final and sixth in the WIHS Equitation Classic. She also rode Monticello to the 1996 Large Junior Hunter and Overall Junior Hunter Horse of the Year titles. Since then, she has won multiple championships and horse of the year titles in the hunter divisions as well as ribbons in the grand prix ring. Even the healthiest horse needs oral medication from time to time to treat a minor infection or illness. Getting bitter pills, powder or paste into the belly of a resistant 1,000-pound animal can be tricky, but it’s important that your horse consume the full amount of each dose to ensure that the medication works properly. Here are some tips to help make that happen. Three Methods to Consider 1.
