Heart of England gets into campervans
Motorhome dealer Heart of England has launched its own range of campers, in response to what it says has been a substantial increase in demand for high-quality conversions.
The two models, made for the firm by Hillside Leisure and both based on a Volkswagen T6, are the two-berth Velum (with prices from £39,995) and the four-berth raising-roof Velare (with prices from £49,995).
You get a choice of four engine sizes, three transmissions (including VW’s 4Motion), and nine metallic exteriors, with colour-coded bumpers.
Standard spec on the Velare offers adaptive cruise control, power-folding mirrors, front parking sensors and fog lights, a burglar alarm, alloy wheels and Eberspächer diesel heating, among others.
