On March 18, Talisman Railwayana Auctions held its latest sale at Cedric Ford Pavilion at Newark Showground. Star of the show was certainly the nameplate from Deltic 55018 Ballymoss, which was keenly contested and went on to set a new record price for a diesel nameplate, achieving a hammer price of £32,400.
