Before the era of brushless electronics and high-output LiPo batteries there was really only one way to put down serious power, and that way was nitro. The smells, the sounds, the sheer power—nitro took hold of many facets of the RC industry and became a huge part of RC racing. I’m always on the lookout for ways to improve my RC technical know-how. I tend to build my own kits and always enjoy a clean setup when they’re done, but one thing I haven’t spent much time on is custom-length wiring on my ESC and servos. At first glance this can seem like a tough task, requiring cutting of essential wires and having to splice on new terminals and connectors.
