The 32nd F3A World Championships were held in Queensland, Australia in August this year at Warwick Airport, which is approximately two hours from Brisbane. Organised by the Australian Precision Aerobatics association (APA – www.f3a.com.au), some twenty teams from around the world attended, with fifty-seven pilots competing for F3A’s top spot.
Team UK this year comprised of Kevin Caton (Skyleaf Leader biplane), Garry Peacock (BJ Craft Anthem) and Thomas David (Placebo own design), with team manager Eugene Anker and official helper Sally Caton. Travelling with the UK team was the sole Iranian registered pilot, Javad Aghababazadeh (Elixir).
