■ In his debut adventure, Sabreman is venturing deep within a convoluted jungle brimming with dangerous beasts and fauna. To escape, the hero must gather the four pieces of an ancient amulet hidden in the enormous maze. Only when he’s assembled the amulet can Sabreman pass the guardian and enter the Underwurlde.

■ Released simultaneously with the third game, Knight Lore, Underwurlde follows directly on from Sabre Wulf. Sabreman is stuck again, this time in the eponymous underground caverns. Three guardians, erm, guard the exits, each leading to a different ending. Defeat one of them, and Sabreman’s next adventure awaits.
