◼ Alongside the Mega Drive version, Mickey Mania was also released on the Super Nintendo. This version is slightly more colourful than the original and has a few graphical improvements. Unfortunately, it also has a much smaller playfield, fewer special effects, fewer levels, less Pluto, less music, shorter credits – and much longer loading times. The version to avoid, if you have the choice.
MEGA-CD
◼ Shortly after the original release, Mickey Mania also became available on the Mega Drive’s CD expansion. The game stays pretty much the same, but there is one additional enemy, slightly extended boss battles, more voice acting and a much better sounding CD soundtrack. Compared to the original, loading times are also slightly longer, but at least they are shorter than on the SNES.…
