A war of attrition
In a recent game against Glasgow Warriors, the Cardiff captain Liam Belcher was forced off, as was his fellow hooker, international Evan Lloyd. Scrums had to be uncontested, as their third hooker, Efan Daniel, was nursing a hamstring injury. Also picking up injuries were props Corey Domachowski and Keiron Assiratti.
Theo Cabango, Rory Jennings and Gwilym Bradley were already on the injured list, along with Taulupe Faletau, Josh Adams, Thomas Young, James Botham, Alex Mann, Seb Davies and Jacob Beetham.
