ARGENTINA’SMEN and New Zealand’s women will head to the HSBC SVNS World Championship as 2024-25 league series winners. After six regular-season rounds, both retained their league titles following the final leg in Singapore, which was won by Fiji men and the New Zealand women respectively. The World Championships will take place in Los Angeles on 3-4 May as the top eight men’s and women’s sides battle it out for the title. Joining Argentina in the men’s draw will be Olympic champions France, South Africa, Great Britain, Fiji, New Zealand, Australia and Spain. WHEN GIACOMO Da Re moved on from Treviso last summer, he was leaving behind much more than a team.
