The Glemseck 101, held at the former Solitude race track outside Stuttgart, is the largest motorbike event in Europe. Until this year there was no scooter sprint class, something that SIP was determined to change.
With around 40,000 visitors in attendance, the meeting attracts all kinds of two-wheel enthusiasts; touring riders, sport riders and motocross riders, customisers and racers, from backyard projects to the big brands of the motorbike world. They all succumb to the fascination of this mixture of passion and speed that thunders down the strip between the bales of straw.
