What I love about crochet is seeing something gorgeous and then recreating it for myself. But have you ever found that your item is bigger or smaller than the same item made by a friend? This is because of tension. We’re all wonderfully different and how loosely or tightly you crochet is unique to you – sometimes mine varies with my mood! An item made with a loose tension will be larger than the same item made with a tight tension. A looser tension also consumes more yarn.
