Yarnstravaganza is back! The nationwide celebration of independent yarn shops returns for its second year, and organisers promise that the event will be even bigger and better than before. Hundreds of yarn shops across the UK will put on special events, host giveaways and hand out various crafty goodies and limited-edition commemorative tote bags to visitors, all to encourage people to visit local craft shops and join in the fun. I was named to the Crochet Hall of Fame in 2015 and have been involved in some aspect of the fashion industry since age 13, designing for magazines and yarn companies since 1982 and working for designers such as Ralph Lauren and Diane von Fürstenberg.
