In Souvenirs of the Wasteland, crochet artist Caitlin McCormack imagines a future where humans, plants and the waste we’ve left behind all merge into tranquil yet terrifying new lifeforms. Mushrooms grow out of finger-like tendrils, animal bones lie on a toxic-waste yellow background and a faceless figure covered in leaves looms ominously.
