YOUR KNITS STAR LETTER ARAN DREAMS My parents are Irish and my mum taught me to knit as a child. When I was 18 my grandmother visited from Ireland. She asked if I knew how to do Aran cable – I said it looked too difficult – so she showed me how easy it was, and now cable knitting is my favourite thing to do. I went to Ireland in 2016 to visit relatives and tour a little as I had not been since I was young.
