Simply Sewing is a practical magazine for makers who sew, or would like to start sewing. Its contemporary look and feel, fresh attitude and ideas, beautiful photography and inspiring projects will have you behind the sewing machine from the get-go!
Whether you’re making for yourself, a little one, or searching for the perfect handmade gift, you’ll find inspiration-galore in this issue! We’ve worked with some exciting new designers this month to bring you skill-building makes like the gorgeous Mia Dress and an elegant quilted gilet, and we’ve also spent time getting to know some more of our faves from the sewing community, including Raph Dilhan and Sue-Ching Lascelles. Don’t miss out on the chance to win a £100 voucher to spend at SewDirect either – your pattern collection could be about to get a fabulous boost! Find out more on page 18. I've been more than a little bit inspired by Sue-Ching Lascelles this month (see p66) - her look just makes me smile! I'm also really looking forward to those lighter evenings so I can enjoy a spot of stitching when the children are in bed. Cai Ni Laighin's ermbroidered hoop (p77) would make a lovely gift for Mother's Day and Mollie Johanson's dress pocket update (p87) is a really quick way to add some interest back into your wardrobe.
