Konica Minolta to acquire Ambry Genetics Japan’s leading printer and photocopier maker Konica Minolta Inc. announced that the company will be acquiring Ambry Genetic Corp. - a US diagnostic company, in a deal valued at up to USD 1 billion. This is one of the largest deals for Konica Minolta and the company will jointly carry out the acquisition with the funds provided by Innovation Network Corp of Japan. Konica Minolta, which has a market value of around $4 billion, will account for 60 percent of the investment and the Innovation Network Corp of Japan (INCJ) will provide for the remaining 40 percent. Sony launches α9 with FE G-Master and FE G lenses Sony launches its new camera, the α9 in the Indian market. The α9 features a 24.2 MP Exmor RS image sensor, BIONZ X processor and front end LSI. The new camera offers high-speed, blackout-free continuous shooting at up to 20fps, 60 AF/AE tracking calculations per second and a maximum shutter speed of up to 1/32,000 second. It features 35mm full-frame stacked Exmor RS CMOS sensor which enables data speed processing at up to 20x faster than previous Sony full-frame mirrorless cameras. Wildlife photography, like landscape photography, is probably the most sought-after genre of photography for nature lovers. Photographers travel to every nook and corner of the world to indulge in this profession or hobby. And they work real hard – being a wildlife photographer means much more than just being able to afford expensive gear. Unless we are dedicated to wildlife, we cannot really become wildlife photographers. This often means forgetting our personal comforts. Going below ISO 100 When I check the EXIF data in some photographs in various magazines, sometimes the image is taken at ISO 50. I own a Nikon D5300. In it, the minimum ISO setting is 100. Is it possible to go below this ISO in my camera? Or is this possible only in high-end models? Is there any calculation/ formula for setting ISO below 100? If yes, kindly explain in details.
