Marantz has updated its slimline receivers with the arrival of the NR1711 — it gains 8K compatibility in the same way as the new Denon receivers (see p9), having one dedicated 8K HDMI input that will pass through signals up to 8K/60. All its six HDMI sockets support 4K with Dolby Vision, HLG, Dynamic HDR, HDR10+, 4:4:4 Pure Color and QMS, as well as the latest HDMI features for gamers, including VRR, QFT, ALLM. The HDMI output to your TV is eARC compatible, so can receive multichannel audio from the TV.
Power is provided by high-current discrete power amplifiers on all seven channels, rated at 90W each, with low-impedance driver capability.
