Tyla’s reign continue as she leads Sama Awards nominations

After much anticipation the South African Music Awards unveiled the list of Sama30 nominees on Thursday at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand. Tyla, with five nominations, and Kabza De Small and Mbuso Khoza, with three each, were the most nominated artists. Weather warnings should be heeded

WEATHER authorities have issued another warning of possible severe weather for KwaZulu-Natal, a week after a calamitous snowfall that resulted in two fatalities. Many travellers were trapped after their vehicles were caught in the snowfall that blanketed and blocked many parts of the N3 from Mooi River upwards and blocked many highways. While the claim that it took too long for rescue services to arrive is valid, it is important to note that traffic authorities and the South African Weather Service (Saws) issued explicit warnings about the severity of the snowfall and why travelling was a major risk.
