Competitiveness in business is often the default for many entrepreneurs, tightly guarding their sources and solutions, so as to outpace local and regional rivals. Members of the Mid-Atlantic Tea Business Association (MATBA), however, are the exception. Founded in 2005 by three Pennsylvania women (Janet Young, who had a teahouse in Camp Hill, and sisters Susanna Reppert Brill and Nancy Reppert, who own a side-by-side giftshop and tearoom in the small town of Mechanicsburg), MATBA has endured 20 years and continues to flourish.
