The FAA states that if you would like to fly your own unmanned quadcopter, you must be at least 16 years of age and able to pass a specific aeronautical knowledge test. It’s vital to be able to edit your footage, or at least have a friend who can. Being organised helps. Start by downloading your clips into a separate project folder. Don’t just download everything into your computer’s default photo or video folder. Create a separate folder for the project and name everything there. After this, your editing software will have everything to hand. It pays to persevere and try to gain permission to access some areas, but it’s never easy. Firstly, don’t just try to enter without permission.
