IF YOUR name wasn’t down you couldn’t get in – that was the case at this year’s sell-out Edinburgh Yarn Festival (EYF), where advance tickets, classes, Big Knit Night, the ever-popular Ceilidh, and Sunday Make::Wool event were snapped up faster than you could knit up a beanie. Thankfully some tickets were available for the Thursday, Friday and Saturday marketplaces on the door, where festival-goers queued up at the venue, Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange, to see what makes EYF so special.
