WELSH WONDERS
We’re looking forward to Wonderwool Wales, the annual celebration of wool and fibre which takes place at the Royal Welsh Showground in Builth Wells. This year’s festival is on the weekend of 22-23 April, and the organisers are delighted to be welcoming even more exhibitors than last year’s successful show.
The halls will be packed with hand-dyers and independent yarn producers, including UK Alpaca, Bow Fiddle Yarns, Cambrian Wool, Gorgeous Yarns, Cat & Sparrow, Chester Wool Co., RiverKnits, the unique Latvian wool of 80 Skeins, and many more.
Local guilds of spinners, weavers and dyers will be giving demonstrations, and the popular Woolschools programme is offering classes on button making, drop spindling, macramé, felting and crochet.
