FOR MANY of us, a knitted sock is the perfect project – small, portable, inexpensive to make, with interesting techniques to try, and endless stitch pattern options to enjoy. I was something of a latecomer to the world of handmade socks, but being surrounded by the hugely enthusiastic sock knitters here at The Knitter it was inevitable that I would get bitten by the bug.
