EMILIA JENSEN is a knitwear designer who loves to work with colour, as her ‘Jane’ sweater on page 38 demonstrates. Based in Sweden, Emilia has a portfolio of joyful knits using multi-coloured stripes, spots and graphic motifs, and she has also contributed designs to Swedish yarn brand Svarta Fåret. THIS RECTANGULAR cushion cover is knitted in a Shetland lace pattern called Old Shale stitch. Our sample uses two shades of colour-changing sock yarn which highlights the wave pattern; DROPS Delight has since been discontinued, so we have recommended DROPS Fabel instead, which comes in a choice of solid and printed colourways.
