What is happening?
From January 15 to January 21, snow, ice, and dangerous cold conditions brought life to a temporary standstill for 79% of the country, from the West Coast to the Northeast and south to Florida. In many parts of the US, the weather closed schools, delayed transportation, knocked out power, and affected the water supply.
