BEHIND THE QUILT REDISCOVERING OLD FABRICS “This quilt is a dainty dance between chain-pieced setting blocks and hand-appliquéd motifs, pairing classic Dresden and strip-pieced blocks to create an enchanting bed of honeysuckle. “Although its starting point is a jelly roll, I pulled more print strips from my stash to augment the colours. While I was busy appliquéing the honeysuckle flowers, I had to go rooting through my considerable scrap collection to find just the right thing for my honeysuckle centres and happened upon some tiny scraps left over from a quilt I made a decade ago.
