Pompom Easter basket What you need ★ Small gift box★ Mixed pompoms★ Chenille sticks (a.k.a pipe cleaners) – 1 pink, 1 yellow and 1 blue★ ½ metre of purple ribbon★ Hot glue gun What to do Step 1: Twist the three chenille sticks together to make the handle. Ask an adult to help with the hot glue gun and glue the handle inside the box. Step 2: Glue on the pompoms around the outside of the box. Don't leave any gaps. HUGE congrats to 19-year-old Torrie Lewis! In late January, the Brisbane teen sprinted into record books when she ran 100m in 11 seconds at the ACT Open and Under 20 Championships! Torrie’s time was 11.10 (+1.6), and she shaved one hundredth of a second off the previous record (11.11), which was set by Melissa Breen in 2014. Torrie also smashed Raelene Boyle’s Australian under-20 record of 11.20 from 1968. Wow! Torrie had previously come close to that junior record and is happy to have beaten it.
