Stags’ South-West sale concluded on Sunday 5 December and featured an excellent selection of tractors of all ages, and associated equipment.
Looking good, a restored David Brown 780 sold for £2,900 (grade 2/4) needing a decent set of tyres. Perhaps the most original machine was a 1983 Matbro 40 Teleram with 1,560 hours on the clock. It went on to sell for a strong £7,250.
A 1988 Case IH 1455XL (registered F35 DUJ), with 8,500 hours on the clock, attracted a total of 29 bids and changed hands at £16,750 – a low price for one of these tractors.
