His death followed complications from a scheduled surgical procedure performed three days earlier. A native of Coalville, Utah, Geary began his soap career in 1971 on Bright Promise, where he played David Lockhart. He went on to appear on The Young and the Restless in 1973, the year it premiered, as George Curtis, a rapist, and he caught the attention of General Hospital executive producer Gloria Monty, who cast him in 1978 as a small-time hood named Luke—a character who would soon become one of the most influential figures in soap opera history. Thursday Night iMPACT! 9/8c, AMC Pro wrestling’s newest partnership is not a tag team of squared circle combatants but rather a joining of forces between TNA Wrestling and AMC Networks. The wrestling company’s flagship program iMPACT! moved its two-hour live show from AXS TV to AMC this month, which TNA World Tag Team Champion Matt Hardy (above) calls an “absolute game-changer.” Tonight, Hardy will be entering the ring with his brother Jeff. “Now we are on the same level as SmackDown [in partnership with NBCU] or as RAW [on Netflix],” he adds.
