Teas are infusions of plant ingredients created by steeping plant parts, including leaves, flowers, fruit, seeds, powders and roots, in hot water. They can also be cooled and enjoyed cold. We’re all familiar with tea.
Popular plant teas include mint, lemongrass, chamomile and green tea (made from Camellia sinensis). You can use any safe-to-consume plant part that you like.
